What Is Real?

It is strange how living abroad, even for a short period of time, alters your perception of reality. Your perspective becomes skewed and your thoughts vacillate.

Distant lands become home,
Unconventional customs become one's own,
And one becomes incomprehensibly attached to a world that is not their own.

Where do I belong? How can a place that I have never been to FEEL like the place that I should have always been? Is this my life? Or was that?

Whichever it is, I have to get back to living, and leave this state of suspended animation.

The ultimate goal is to regain my equilibrium...

Each person has their own customs, according to their upbringing, their religion, country of birth, grew up and he lived.
Each one of us is different ... no boundaries or distances us to change, because each of us has a essence.
However there are situations that sometimes make us think or unbalance us ... this self-maintain their right axis.
Where ever you are ...

Hi Ana,

Perfect, my thoughts exactly...

And sometimes by attempting to balance oneself, one knocks themselves more off-course. ;)
